Just Bought the Google Nexus One

So after weeks (months?) of hype, a night of reading the various Engadget posts and following the Live Engadget Press Conference Post, I made the purchase of the Nexus One as soon as the site (http://www.google.com/phone) stopped returning a bogus 404 error.

Truth be told, I’ve been looking to drop my Samsung Epix since about a month after I bought it, but I’ve hated every other AT&T phone I’ve played with, including the Garmin Nuvi that I had high hopes for. I wasn’t planning on jumping on the Nexus bandwagon so quickly, but when I saw the order page after following the live feed, my fingers just started entering credit card details. Google got me with their early leaks and promise of new hope in Android 2.1.

Oh, and did I mention free shipping?

The only thing that probably would have gotten me ordering any quicker is if they smacked their classic “beta” sticker on the front of it ;-)

If you enjoyed this article or it helped you in any way, I’d appreciate it if you’d post a comment below to let me know. All code examples are for demonstration only and should be used at your own risk. I cannot accept liability for unexpected results.
